Laurier laments the loss of Marek Krawiec

Wilfrid Laurier University Laments the passing of Marek Krawiec, member of the Waterloo campus’s Information and Communications Technology team.  

After holding ICT positions at Laurier from 2007 to 2016, Krawiec returned to the university in 2023 as a systems architect.  

Known as a nature-loving, generous and kind individual, Krawiec will be greatly missed in the Laurier community. 

Laurier will lower its flags to half-mast to honor Krawiec. 

Those wishing to remember Krawiec can donate to the family’s GoFundMe campaign.
