Dybenko’s new position revealed

/

It was announced Jan. 27 that Ginny Dybenko, dean of the school of business and economics who stepped down two weeks ago to take on a new role at Wilfrid Laurier University, will be the university’s first-ever executive: strategic initiatives.

The role will involve fundraising, advocacy and projects related to Laurier’s development. Dybenko will work out of the Development and Alumni Relations office and officially begins Feb. 1.

In the short-term, before a new dean of SBE is found, former associate dean of business William Banks will take over as an acting dean in Dybenko’s former role.
