BB gun fired at Laurier residence

A 19-year-old man has been seriously injured after being hit above the eye with a BB gun, as reported by CTV Kitchener.

According to the Waterloo Regional Police Services, the man was hurt to the point where he needed emergency surgery. The unidentified victim was shot around 3 p.m. on Monday, April 3 at a Wilfrid Laurier University student residence building.

CTV Kitchener reported a 19-year-old Waterloo male resident is currently facing charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, pointing a firearm and careless use of a firearm.
