The Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks’ womenโ€™s hockey team continued their dominance this weekend, winning both home games of a back to back. The team improved to 8-0 on the season with a 2-0 victory over Queens and a 5-1 beating of UOIT.

Goaltender Liz Knox continued her strong play between the pipes by making 28 saves in the win while the offense was led by Kaley Powers who scored twice, once in the first period to open the scoring and again in the third period to cap it off.

Kate Psota, Andrea Ironside and Caitlin Muirhead also chipped in with a goal each.
