Woman struck and killed by GO Train in Kitchener

A woman was struck and killed by a GO Train on Monday night at 8 p.m. in the area of Lancaster and Victoria streets in Kitchener.

The Waterloo Regional Police Services reiterated that the woman’s death was not suspicious.

As reported by 570 News, the GO Train was headed into Kitchener from Union Station in Toronto. Passengers were then forced off the train in Guelph, as well as all passengers on all trains with shuttle buses taking passengers to Kitchener.

At this time, WRPS have not released anymore information.
