The Wilfrid Laurier community laments the loss of beloved former instructor Marshall Ward An instructor in Laurier’s Fine Arts program who also won the Laurier Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence in 2007, Ward was known for his compassionate and outgoing spirit.
Apart from his time spent giving back to the Laurier community, Ward was a proficient visual artist and podcaster. He also held a weekly column in the Waterloo Chronicle.
A celebration of life took place for Ward on Dec. 19 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home. Ward’s family has asked that donations be made to the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth.
