New swimming coach

It was announced last Thursday that Nandi Kormendi will replace the recently departed Dean Boles as the head coach of the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawksโ€™ swim teams.

Kormendi, a graduate of York University, comes from a strong coaching background spanning over the last 25 years. He has spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach with ROW, and prior to that was the head coach for the Perth Stingrays where he worked with Olympic swimmers Mike Brown and Jillian Tyler.
