After two successful animated box-office films, Steve Carell hits the big screen again as the voice of Gru in this summer’s Despicable Me. But don’t expect to see another archetypal kid’s film – the odd-looking characters, quirky comments, hilarious voices and added touch of 3D viewing will keep you entertained throughout the entire movie.

Background animation strays from the norm, while atypical characters, gloomy settings and memorable lines make this a summer blockbuster that is at times Tim Burton-esque.

Clocking in at just over an hour, Despicable Me is filled with many hilarious moments that are strung together at such a quick rate that the only problem that arises is losing the storyline amid your own laughter.
