Men’s hockey eliminated in OUA west semi final

Edward Gale and Chris Belan scored for Guelph while Mitchell Good replied for Laurier as the Golden Hawks men’s hockey team was eliminated from the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) West semi final in game three on Sunday night.

The Gryphons came out on top 2-1 in both the deciding game and the series, winning both games in Waterloo, nullifying the Hawks’ home ice advantage.

This ends the season for the Golden Hawks, while Guelph will now play Western in the OUA West finals this weekend.
