Men’s basketball splits weekend

After winning handily on Friday night, in an 89-66 rout over the Royal Military College (RMC) Paladins, the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks’ men’s basketball team was looking to even their record at 2-2 on Saturday, but the Queen’s Gaels had other ideas.

The Gaelsโ€™ clutch shooting, late in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference in a back-and-forth affair which saw the Gaels claim a 64-63 win.

The Hawks now sit at 1-3 and look to get back on track next weekend when they head on the raod to take on the Carleton Ravens and the Ottawa Gee Gees.
