Laurier student Kaya Daley-Arnold passes away

On July 6, Wilfrid Laurier University confirmed the passing of Kaya Daley-Arnold, a student in the faculty of human and social sciences on the Brantford campus.

In her time at Laurier, Daley-Arnold had studied at both the Waterloo and Brantford campuses. She was a strong advocate for other students and was passionate about singing.

A celebration of life is being hosted for Daley-Arnold on July 7. Those who would like to attend are encouraged to contact the Dean of Students Office (Brantford).

Daley-Arnold is one of two Brantford students whose death was confirmed this week. Their deaths are unrelated.

Additional support is available for students who need it and can be accessed through on-campus resources.
