Laurier student Esheaka Sinera passes away

On May 12, Wilfrid Laurier University confirmed the passing of fourth-year student Esheaka Sinera. 

Sinera was a Computer Science student in the co-op program, a member of the Muslim Students’ Association and a leader within the Laurier Muslim Chaplaincy. 

The Muslim Chaplaincy at Laurier has announced an opportunity for reflection after Friday’s prayer. 

“Losing a student has a significant impact on the Laurier community,” Laurier said in a news statement.
