Former Hawks’ golf great returns

/

From 1999-2003, Jim Zwolak enjoyed considerable success golfing for the Golden Hawks and now the Laurier grad will look to continue that success as a coach, as it was announced last week that four-time OUA all-star will be taking over at the helm of Laurier’s golf program.

In addition to his four all-star selections, Zwolak was also the OUA’s individual champion in 2002, leading to him coming away with the President’s Award as Laurier’s top male athlete – the only golfer in Laurier history to do so – that same year. Following his career at Laurier, Zwolak represented Canada at the World University Games and also spent time playing professionally on both the Great Lakes Tour and Canadian Tour.
