Ontario Premier Doug Ford has announced the closure of all non-essential services across the province in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
As of today, services that have remained open include manufacturing and supply chain providers, grocery stores, pharmacies, takeout restaurants and LCBO outlets.
More information on the businesses that are going to be affected will be announced Tuesday when details are finalized.

The expansion of Ontario’s crisis plans will come into effect just one week after Ford declared a state of emergency.
The province confirmed 78 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with the total number of cases at 503, including 6 deaths.
The planned closures will take effect starting March 24 at 11:59 pm and last for 14 days.
