WLU men’s volleyball falls to 6-8

The Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks men’s volleyball team continued their up and down season over the weekend with a win over the Guelph Gryphons on Friday and a loss to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues on Sunday.

In the first match-up the Hawks travelled to Guelph and came away with a solid 3-1 victory over the Gryphons. However, they couldn’t keep that momentum going when they returned home to face the Blues and fell 3-1 in a match riddled with mental errors.

Now at 6-8, the purple and gold will continue their push for a playoff spot this Friday when they take on the Waterloo Warriors.
