The Multimedia Production Assistant is required to exhibit strong knowledge and interest in multimedia content production. Have extensive knowledge of various media forms (such as graphics creation) is an asset. Each candidate must have good time management, communication skills and be able to work on assigned tasks independently. Candidates for this position must:ย
- Communicate effectively with the Creative Director and Digital Production Staff when required, responding to them in a timely manner;ย
- Assist the Creative Director and the EIC with updating thecord.ca. Having experience in website maintenance (On WordPress) is an asset; ย
- Assist in photo & video editing along with graphic design for various sections;
- Having experience with photography, videography and social media is an asset;
- Work with the Digital Production Staff to create multimedia content for different platforms.
- Attend All-Cord meetings;ย
When using social media in regards to The Cord or WLUSP, the director is expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner.
