SCS officers and ERT members attended to the F.N.C.C. in response to a call for medical assistance. A 23-year-old (guest) male, Kitchener resident was ascending the stairs to the Turret Night Club at which time he fell and struck his face against the wall. He sustained a laceration to his face and a cut to one of his fingers. He was assessed and treated by ERT and left campus in the company of a friend.

SCS officers received a call from Parking Services requesting assistance in towing a vehicle in Lot#9 for outstanding unpaid fines. Active Towing was dispatched for the tow. Tow was completed without incident.
Alarm

SCS Dispatch received a Fire Alarm from a Residence. Waterloo Fire Department attended. Cause of the alarm was unknown, but the Waterloo Fire Department believes the smoke detector may be dirty thereby setting off the alarm. Physical Plant and Planning was notified to clean the unit.
Theft Under
Location: Athletic Complex โ womenโs change room

SCS officers investigated a report of a wallet stolen from the womenโs change room at the AC. The female student reports that she left her wristlet wallet on the bench while she was changing in the room, and while her back was turned, an unknown person took her wallet. Investigation is ongoing.

A resident of King St Residence reported the theft of his wallet the previous Friday March 18. The student originally reported the theft to York Regional Police when he went home for the weekend. No suspects.
Intoxicated Person

SCS officers received a report that an intoxicated male was outside of the Toyota Solarium by himself. SCS officers attended to the Quad area, and found the intoxicated male passed out on the ground. The non student male, was able to provide a valid Ontario Drivers Licence for identification purposes. He was celebrating his birthday at Philโs Bar, and had been separated from his friends. The maleโs sister came to WLU to pick up her brother and take responsibility for him. No further action necessary.
Assault

SCS Dispatcher and SCS officer observed an unknown male sprayed a group of three unknown females with a noxious substance at the front entrance of the 232 King Street Office. An SCS officer who was currently in the office attended to the victims. Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate.

A SCS officer on foot patrol discovered some vandalism on the 2nd floor in The Hall of Memories. Person(s) unknown had torn off an electronic device (Door Counter) off a door frame. CCTV footage will be reviewed for possible suspects.

SCS and ERT members attended to the student residence in response to a call for medical assistance. A female student was complaining about suffering from an earache. She was assessed by ERT and taken to Health Services by some of her friends.

A student who had parked his vehicle in the parking lot noticed upon returning to his car that person(s) unknown had โkeyedโ the trunk. SCS officers attended and are conducting an investigation. CCTV camera footage will be reviewed in this area.

SCS officers attended to the student residence in response to a complaint of drug usage. An 18-year-old male student admitted to having smoked a โjointโ in his room. He will be dealt with by Residence Life staff for the infraction.

A 23-year-old female experiencing a severe asthma attack in the Health Services Office was attended to by EMS and members from the Waterloo Fire Dept. She was assessed and treated on scene. No further medical attention was required.

Special constables attended at a Residence at the request of residence staff regarding drug paraphernalia. Two plastic bongs were seized for destruction. Residence Life staff will be dealing with the student involved.
Intoxicated Person

SCS officers attended to Wilfโs Pub in response to a complaint of a person passed out in the womenโs washroom after closing hours. He had been located by a staff member. A 21-year-old intoxicated male student was located and taken home to a friendโs house. He will appear before the Judicial Affairs Council for the offence of โPublic Intoxication.โ

A special constable attended at the Dining Hall in response to a report that a male student had fallen. On arrival the student was conscious and sitting at a table. He had not struck his head but felt dizzy and slumped to the floor earlier. Assistance was offered but he declined medical attention.
Break and Enter

While on mobile patrol a special constable noticed the back door of a shed at 150 Albert had been ripped off the hinges. There were tracks in the snow indicating that something may have been dragged from the shed. Investigation continues and inquiries made with grounds personnel.
Intoxicated Person

Occurred: Mar. 26, 2011 @ 3:45 a.m.
While attending to another matter at a Residence special constables found a male passed out under the stairwell in the front foyer. Special constables woke the male who suddenly became uncooperative and confrontational. He was wearing only โlong johnsโ and a shirt and was obviously intoxicated. He refused to identify himself. Once identity was established special constables proceeded to escort the male back to his room. During the escort the male became aggressive and was arrested for his own safety and the safety of others. Once he calmed down he was delivered to his room and the on duty RLAC was made aware of the situation. There have been previous issues with this individual which caused him to be evicted from another residence earlier in the year. Residence Life will be dealing with him further.

Special constables responded to a fire alarm at a Residence. On arrival they were informed by dispatch that the alarm now read โnormal.โ The cause of the alarm was a faulty detector in a 3rd floor custodial room. A work order for repair was submitted.

Special Constables were on patrol in marked cruiser when they observed a large group of males under the parking overhang area of a residence. Officers noted a strong odor of marijuana around the group, and subsequently asked to leave the premise as they were all non students.

A Special Constable was notified of an intoxicated female in the womenโs washroom at the Turret nightclub. The female was released to a sober party. No charges were laid in this matter.

Special Constables responded to a pull station activated on the 2nd floor of a Residence. The alarm appeared to have been intentionally activated, with no cause for the activation. No suspects at this time.

An Athletic Complex patron reported the theft of her sonโs jacket from the menโs change room on Fri Mar 25. There are no suspects.
Dangerous Condition

A special constable noticed a large build up of ice on the exterior stairs leading from lot 11 to the Arts Building as well as at the foot of the steps. There was also a large icicle hanging from the northwest corner of the Food Services receiving area. PP&P Grounds personnel were called in. Salt was applied and the area was taped off for safety reasons. Due to the thickness of the ice the area will have to be worked on further on Monday.
