Alarm

Location: Northdale Campus
Reported date: Feb. 22, 2011 @ 8:24 a.m.
SCS attended to one of the class rooms in response to a burglary alarm that was activated in one of the classrooms. An ex-employee was located on premise. He did not have the code to disarm the building. Everything was in order.

Property Damage

Location: St. Michael Campus
Reported date: Feb. 22, 2011 @ 10:40 a.m.
SCS received a report of several broken windows on the west side of the building. The attending officer indicated that there was no attempt entry to the building, but merely vandalism. Physical Resources was notified for repairs.

Alarm

Location: Northdale Campus
Reported date: Feb. 22, 2011 @ 8:33 p.m.
A SCS officer responded to a motion alarm at Northdale Campus. A male guest was located in room NC 116. A female student had left her friend in the room while she left the grounds. She was contacted and told that she cannot leave her friend alone in the room while she conducts off campus business. NFA was taken.

Alarm

Location: Theatre Auditorium
Reported date: Feb. 24, 2011 @ 7:15 p.m.
The SCS Dispatch Centre received a repetitive door alarm coming from the a/m location. SCS officers attended and discovered that the doors had been propped open in order to bring in equipment into the building to prepare for an opera performance.

Break and Enter

Location: Residence
Reported date: Feb. 26, 2011 @ 11:17 a.m.
A student returning to his residence after being away for Reading Week discovered that his room had been entered and noticed a Play Station and numerous video games had been stolen. SCS attended and determined that entry had been gained through a ground floor insecure window on the north side of the building. There are no suspects at this time and no CCTV camera coverage available.

Theft Under $5,000

Reported date: Feb. 26, 2011 @ 1:45 p.m.
A SCs officer on foot patrol discovered that person(s) unknown had stolen a ‘Purell’ hand sanitizer soap dispenser from the holder located inside the main lobby in the ‘A’ Wing portion of the student residence. There are no suspects.

Property Damage

Location: Residence
Reported date: Feb. 27, 2011 @ 1:13 a.m.
A SCS officer responded to a complaint regarding damage to a vehicle located at Residence. The black, four door 2000 Nissan Altima had its side mirror knocked off the door and the driver’s side wiper blade snapped off. There are no suspects.

Injured/Sick Person

Location: Fred Nichols Campus Centre (FNCC)
Reported date: Feb. 27, 2011 @ 2:54 p.m.
SCS officers responded to a dispatch that a female was having a seizure in the Concourse. EMS was notified and dispatched. The female was found conscious and seated on the floor. She was coherent and able to identify herself. She indicated that she experiences stress/anxiety induced pseudo seizures, and that she had been practicing with her dance group. She did indicate that she had hit her head. EMS attended. The female declined further medical attention and signed the EMS waiver to be transported to hospital.
