According to the University, Wilfrid Laurier administration has reached a tentative agreement with the school’s Contract Academic Staff (CAS). The tentative deal comes after the two sides met with a provincial mediator on June 15.
With this tentative agreement, Laurier avoids a second CAS strike in the past three years as CAS profs and PhD teaching assistants went on strike at the end of the winter semester in 2008.
