Laurier closes H1N1 online registration

For the 2010 winter term, Laurier students will no longer be able to register online if they contract the H1N1 virus.

In a press release dated Jan. 4, the university said they had temporarily shut down the service to coincide with declining rates of illness in the area.

Students must now revert to the old system of submitting doctor notes to their instructors.

The online registration system may be implemented later on this year if the number of H1N1 cases increase once again.
