Hawks roll over Lancers
Following their heart-breaking homecoming loss to Ottawa last weekend, the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks men’s football team got back on track on Thanksgiving Saturday, beating the Windsor Lancers 37-20.
Leading the way for the Hawks was their running game, which racked up a total of 397 yards. Running back Mike Montoya got back into form, rusing for 207 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.
Quarterback Evan Pawliuk added three touchdowns and 202 yards through the air as the Hawks racked up 595 yards of total offence.
