The Golden Hawks triumphed over the Warriors yesterday in the battle of Waterloo.

Both teams walked on to Warrior Field undefeated in what was poised in what was poised to be one of the biggest match ups of the year.

The game remained contentious for the first half, but ultimately the Golden Hawks held the lead, entering the second half with a 18 point lead.

The Hawks continuously held a strong lead over the Warriors for the second half of the game, finishing with a score of 71-24.

This win improves the Hawks’ perfect record to 4-0, which will definitely serve as a boost as they gear up to face the Western Mustangs in next week’s homecoming game.

The Mustangs are also undefeated, having beat the Queen’s Gaels yesterday evening with a score of 48-10, improving their own record to 5-0.

Next weeks match, which will be a home game for the Golden Hawks, looks to be an exciting contest, as the Hawks beat out the Mustangs last year 43-40, landing them a Yates Cup victory.
