Features Editor Bethany Bowles asked upper-year students for advice to give to first-years
Bethany is a Laurier English grad who started writing for The Cord in her second year as a student. For two years Bethany volunteered for the Arts & Life section, but then branched out as Features Editor for her final year in university. After graduating university, Bethany found herself unable to leave The Cord and continued on as Editor-in-Chief for the 2016-17 school year. Bethany is addicted to coffee, indie rock and receives an intense satisfaction from creasing the spine of a brand new novel.
