Dallas Nightclub receives suspension notice

Dallas Nightclub in Kitchener is facing a suspension of their liquor license for a two-week period.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario posted a notice on the front of Dallas nightclub, located at 312 King St. W, stating that their license would be suspended from Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. to Oct. 28 at 2 a.m.

The notice cited two reasons for the suspensions which were two accounts of apparent serving to a minor and two accounts of permitting drunkenness.

Apparently, earlier this week the nightclub posted on their Facebook page inviting the public to a mystery location for weekends which will take place for the duration of their suspension.

“Nothing stops us!!! Join us these next 2 weekends at a mystery location. Show up to Dallas and we will provide the transportation. Doors open at 9 pm and free cover all night! Dallas will be back with our daisy dukes Saturday October 28th,” the post read, allegedly.

According to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario’s website, they are “are responsible for regulating Ontario’s alcohol, gaming and horse racing sectors in accordance with the principles of honesty, integrity, and in the public interest.”

More information to come.
