Two confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been declared by Waterloo Region Public Health in employees at Wilfrid Laurier University’s Waterloo campus.
The cases were reported on Aug. 15 and Aug. 18.
The individuals are currently self-isolating and are being monitored by public health.
“The university is taking direction about the management of this outbreak from public health, including supporting the contact tracing and isolation of individuals as required. Anyone who has been deemed a close contact with these cases has already been notified and is self-isolating,” the news release said.
