WLUSU board of directors Update: Oct. 1, 2010

/

This Friday, Oct. 1 the Wilfrid Laurier University board of directors met for an early morning meeting.

The agenda included a presentation by the City of Waterloo regarding possible renovations to Uptown Waterloo. Members of the board asked questions regarding proposed changes such as narrowing lanes, expanding sidewalks and the inclusion of the proposed Light Rail Transit system through the city’s busiest corridor.

After a quick review, the board unanimously accepted WLUSU president Kyle Walker’s monitoring report.

The next board meeting will be conducted at 2:30p.m. on Oct. 15 and will include an update regarding online voting in next year’s WLUSU election.
