WLUSU board meeting update: Jan. 22

/

When the Wilfrid Laurier University Studentsโ€™ Union board of directors met earlier this afternoon they requested a board direct inspection of WLUSUโ€™s campus clubs.

Director Stephanie Francis started the discussion and brought forward concerns that students have had about how campus clubs operates and the ongoing problems that exist every year.

Although management was able to offer some answers, including that they would be releasing a new campus clubs policy in the next week, the board still desired further information and a direct inspection regarding the new policies and financial information will be provided to the board.

Other areas of discussion at the board meeting included WLUSUโ€™s $128,000 surplus and the loss of money at the Williamโ€™s in Brantford.
