Where to eat on campus during exams

April 8 is the last day of classes for the winter semester at Wilfrid Laurier University. As the university moves into exam period, many of its food outlets will be changing hours.

The Fresh Food Company (the dining hall) will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays and 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends until April 28, the day after the final exam day. The Starbucks in the Concourse will be operating on normal hours until Monday, April 22, when it will begin closing at 10 p.m. instead of 11; it will close at 4 p.m. Friday, April 26, be closed on April 27 and 28, before re-opening Monday April 29, operating from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Tim Horton’s locations will see slightly reduced hours once classes finish, with both the Peters Building and Science Building locations closing at 3 p.m. April 9 and 10. Both locations will be open until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11 and 3 p.m. Friday, April 12. As per normal hours, both locations will be closed over the weekend, re-opening Monday April 15, at which point they will be open until 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 2 p.m. on Fridays.

The Peters Building Tim Horton’s will close for the semester on Friday, April 26, while the Science Building location will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 29 and 30 and May 1.

The Terrace Food Court will close for the semester at 9 p.m. on Friday, April 26, with the Bento outlet closing a week earlier, Friday April 19. Until April 26, all the outlets aside from Bento will be running on a normal schedule.

The Second Cup location in the library will be open until 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on weekends until Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21 when it will be closed. Second Cup will re-open Monday, April 22, operating from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Friday, April 26, when it will close for the semester at 3 p.m.

In residence, the King Street Cafe, will operate on a normal schedule until it closes for the semester at 2 p.m on Friday, April 26. The Waterloo College Hall Res Cafe will be running a normal schedule with its last day of the semester being Thursday, April 25, when it will be open until midnight.

Wilf’s will be open regular hours until Thursday, April 25 — aside from Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21 when it will close at 3 p.m. — when it will close for the semester.

Veritas Cafe will remain open 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday throughout exams.

Throughout exams, International News will be open 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.
