Local activists commandeered the stage at UW’s Humanities Theater to deny National Post columnist Christie Blatchford the opportunity to address the crowd about her new book Helpless:Caledonia’s Nightmare of Fear and Anarchy, and How the Law Failed All of Us. The group claimed Blatchford was a racist and Nazi apologist and that there was no place for someone fitting that description to speak in Waterloo.
